I just finished Jeannette Walls’ book “The Glass Castle.” It’s easily in my top 50 favorite books…and definitely in my top 10 favorite memoirs. It’s a haunting account of growing up practically homeless with two parents who were living like kings in their minds, but were mentally ill by society’s standards.
